Dr. Sankaran graduated from Madras Medical College, India and completed post-
graduate studies in Internal Medicine. He completed his Internal Medicine residency at the
Veterans Administration Hospital in Brooklyn, NY and is board certified in Internal and
Geriatric medicine. In addition, he has specialized training in Hematology and Oncology from
Georgetown University, Washington, D.C.
Dr. Sankaran practiced in Altoona, PA for forty years and also was the Medical Director at the
Veterans Home, Hollidaysburg, PA for 20 years.
Dr. Sankaran joined the iCare team on July 2021.
